I am a 2k15 batch student. My school life was definitely a blessing for me. Apart from learning about math, science, social studies, and language arts, I also learned lifelong lessons to be productive in society. The most important lesson that I learned at school is “Believe In Thyself.”
I pursued my Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Delhi Technological University and currently.

MPS isn't just an institution to me. It shaped my thoughts, my actions, helped me hone my skills and realize my true potential. All this, made possible by the tremendous amount of efforts put in by my teachers and the able guidance of madam Principal.

This is a matter of pride for me that one of the great educational institutions- (Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh), of which I was a part from my childhood till my teenage, is completing its 50 years. On the founder’s day, I thank all my teachers and schooling staff who helped me shape my views, my personality in all those 15 years of schooling. I feel proud to be part of this school which has imparted me with the knowledge and manners to establish myself in a civil society. What I am today, is all due to hard-work of my teachers and hours they did put on my overall development. I will always remain in debt of the Love which I have got during my schooling years..

Time spent MPS has been an integral part of my development. Students generally have a pre-conceived notion that holistic development of an individual can only begin from college. Schools are nothing more than prisons where children are put behind the bars and made to do stuff. I firmly believe that it’s the individual who drives his development, and once he learns to do so, school is no less than a perfect platform. MPS has been the same platform for me.

My experience at MPS was well rounded. The school not only helped be strengthen my IQ but also helped develop a social end emotional quotient. Teachers at MPS gave a lot of exposure via extra curriculars which help me develop skills beyond academics. I am still able to leverage the learning and the network provided by the school. Thanks MPS and the entire team for amazing 12 years of early life.

Live the moment and create your destiny. Many a times, not just when you are in school or college or working a job, there will come a time when you will forget to live in the moment, and either start past retrospection or get anxious over future. After revolving around the sun for about three and a half decades, I can clearly say that you can only join the dots looking backwards and not looking forward. The past only exist in your mind and future doesn't exist. What exists and defines you and your existence is the moment you are living 'Right Now'. School years are the golden years of ones life. Not because you are wild, young and free, they are golden because they give you more than enough moments to define yourself. Mark my words, not one, not two, not three, but multiple moments, which you can either use to create a wonderful future or enjoy binging on Netflix. In this phase of life, if you seize the moment, it will define the next 20 or 30 years of your life. Most of us believe we have time, but the fact remains, that all of us, have limited amount of time, and the clock is running out, whether we like it or not. So, as your alumni, I would guide you all, to focus on yourself and find yourself. Find what you are best at. Find what you will not hate doing for the next 40 years. That would define your path to success. Be it music, be it maths, be it science, be it cutting trees into funny shapes. Just find what you are good at and become the master of it. Do not follow the crowd. Money is not happiness. Luxury is not happiness. Happiness is leaving this place better than how you received it. Happiness is creating something worth remembering. With the advancement of technology, you have all the information you need at your fingertips, yet if you look at the out of box ideas and amazing products coming out in market from India, they are relatively lower than whats coming out of other progressive nations. Is it because we are lacking something? Yes, we are. In india its not a skill issue, its a will issue. And where there is a will, there is way. All you need to do is to push yourself and you will see there are no miracles which cannot be achieved. In the end, I wish you all the best for your journey and wish you best of luck, for you are a part of a very premier educational institute. You have the best teachers one can get. I learnt the best lessons of my life during my schooling at MPS. Always be proud of being a Modernite!

My journey At MPS has been incredible and i am highly indebted to alma mater for making me what i am today. This Incredible journey began at the age of 5 and this institution became my second home by the time i left the school. Reminiscences of classrooms, strenuous exercises in the ground, scoldings and appreciation from my teachers and friends added colours to my school life. The most profound impact on my life took shape early on with the assistance of my teachers and Peer group. The annual Sports events and other co-curricular activities provided the right exposure for an all-round development of my personality and helped me grow as a human. Modern Public school is the place where everyone gets equal opportunity to realise their true potential and further nurture it in a fruitful environment to help achieve ones' Goals and Destinations. The optimal blend of moral ethics and technology aided education for a holistic progress of a  person is witnessed here.
I can say that the lessons learnt here have  greatly impacted my career. It has helped me realise that nothing is beyond my reach .with the right dedication and required hard work anything can be achieved. There is no doubt that my education at MPS is an anchor in my endeavour to become an Indian Administration Services Officer.
