Being successful is more of a journey, not a destination. The greatest journeys in our lives start off with small steps, and the journey of my life began through the gateways of Modern Public School 29 years ago. Looking back, I realise that what matters most is not years but days, for it speaks of how my time was spent here.
It is not every day that you turn 50 and it is such a symbolic time, for the school, with traditions, culture and values becoming ensconced into our future being. This is a moment that allows us to consider what our aspirations have been over the years; reflect on 50 years of growth, grit and greatness; celebrate all that we have achieved together; and aspire yet again – as success is never final.

I would like to congratulate Modern Public School for moving forward and successfully traversing its 50 years. Since its inception in 1971, the school has made a mark of educational excellence based on firmly embedded values, a passion for learning and an environment which inspires through its sheer diversity.
Its incredible to see that the students of the school are groomed from a very early age to foster respect for diversity that prepares the students for participation in a complex and changing world. The atmosphere at the school is happy and polite, as our strong, values-based system emphasises on the importance of kindness and respect towards others.

The Saga of MPS, discusses our 50-year history and has many excellent observations about where we are today and about the challenges we may face in the future.
Today MPS is reflected on the list of the most innovative Schools in the capital city. MPS, since its founding, has been a place for students of all ages to participate equally in creative fields, preparing them for meaningful lives and careers, working to solve the problems of humanity. Most of all, it believes in hard, sustained work for student success.
Founders' Day is a great reminder of the core values the school represents and how we contribute and uphold those year-to-year... It is an opportunity for the school to recognize the individuals that make it a unique and great community.
In about 50 years our school like a sapling sprouting with its branches has flourished promoting quality and value based education. The growth of the sapling has been properly nurtured by the administrators, principal, teaching faculties, students, non-teaching staffs and parents.

Foundation Day is an important milestone each year, where we show our gratitude for the wisdom, courage and commitment demonstrated by those who contributed to the establishment of the School. Modern Public School is more than just a school. Students and staff are working together in a friendly family like atmosphere with passion and dedication. We are constantly improving in every way possible towards our goal to give our students the very best education living up to the latest marked demands. I feel proud to say that over the years and having worked here for almost 3 decades, I have seen the school grow and spread its branches to uphold the values of honesty, integrity, cooperation and wisdom sown by the founders of the school. I feel privileged to be a part of the golden jublee celebrations of this esteemed institution.
